Growing up in a family of artists, my parents pushed the boundaries of creativity, color and design. Be it antique furniture, multi media, fine art or jewelry, there was always inspiration around us. After receiving a BA in Fine Arts and Communications at Ithaca College, I left the East Coast to come to Boulder, CO in 1997 and never looked back,
After years in Restaurant Management & Marketing, I increasingly found myself dabbling in design part time, helping friends update and rearrange rooms in their houses, and buying specific pieces of furniture and/or accessories. These numerous projects and my ever growing passion is what led to Rachel B Interiors.
My years in the service industry taught me how to listen, be patient, and to be a great communicator. Moreover, as a mother of two boys (and wife of another one), I've become skilled at inspiring them to be creative and take risks with their ideas.
I encourage those around me, whether family, friends or clients, to embrace their own individual uniqueness and find their own voice and stylistic approach. I am as deeply committed to creating a whole room as I am shopping for a single couch or even simply reorganizing a kitchen pantry (a true love of mine). My services are designed to help you create a space that expresses your personality for you, your friends and family to love for years.

My approach is collaborative and conversational. I work with you to learn how you would like your home to look and feel. Everyone already has everything inside them to make a beautiful home but often don't have a person to help them extract that. Through in-person conversations, Pinterest, Instagram and design magazines, I create idea boards to find you the perfect look tailored to your style, needs and budget.

Rachel B Interiors is a boutique design firm, specializing in residential interior design. I provide full-service design from concept to creation, making sure no detail is overlooked, from visual preliminary design plans down to the finishing touches.
My goal is to create spaces for clients that reflect their personalities and meet their family's needs. Interior design should work with your space and be beautiful, functional, and bring joy to you and others.
Whether it's the blank canvas of a brand new home, selecting kitchen finishes, accessory additions or simply an update of rooms to reflect your current style, there is no project too big or too small. I will thoughtfully explore options to hone in on the exact look you are hoping to achieve.
STAGE CONSULTING -
Homeowners and Realtors, if you are getting ready to list a house and would rather not go to the expense of full home staging, I can offer simpler solutions. Through careful editing and sourcing of inexpensive accent pieces, I collaborate with you to get any home market ready. The initial consultation includes an hour-long walk through, followed up with a detailed report outlining recommendations and best practices to elevate your property to its fullest aesthetic potential.

I can honestly say I am going to miss working with her now that my home is fully furnished. I will be reaching out again for any future design needs.

We recently had Rachel help us with the remodel of our entire house. She helped us select floors, cabinets, tile, paint, furniture, rugs, everything! All she needed was a few pinterest boards and she immediately knew what we would like and made such a cohesive design for us. It was a very collaborative process and she was readily available when we had questions or wanted to talk through our ideas. The decision to downsize from our family home of 14 years was a major life decision. This past summer we sold our home where we raised our three children and moved into a smaller, modern townhouse. We were not going to be able to move all of our large furniture into the new space and I needed assistance deciding what to keep and what to sell.
Rachel was recommended to me from several friends in the community. I was looking for someone to collaborate with me make our new space feel like a home. After our first consultation meeting, I knew Rachel was that person! She designed idea boards for me based on my personality, interests and budget. I love photography and Rachel found ways to incorporate my pieces around my home which makes me feel there is a part of me in every room.
We have successfully styled my kitchen/dining, living, bedroom and office areas! The townhome looks amazing. This may not be our forever home, but every piece Rachel chose for us will easily transfer to wherever we end up as empty nesters. Although we have finished this project together, I will definitely keep in touch with Rachel and use her for any future design projects.

Rachel initially helped me with a consult on my master bathroom remodel, which is absolutely gorgeous, thanks to her guidance. We have since continued to redecorate the majority of my home, including an additional two bathrooms, full kitchen and living room remodel/redecorate.
